The Lévézou plateau is a land of freedom, between Ségala and the Causses, propitious to stockbreeding, cultivation and the craft industry, all year round.
On the South side, "Les Marches du Lévezou" and the Tarn and Muse valleys unveil the outstanding shapes, colours and lights of the Causses.
The landscape is dotted with hills, waterfalls, peat bogs and gorges, and was modified 50 years ago with the creation of one of France biggest water systems:
five lakes, holding 5000 ha of water, give you the opportunity to fish, swim and enjoy many water sports.
But these waters haven't washed away the past: menhirs and dolmens, roman and gothic churches, crosses, sarcophagus and castles from the Middle Ages still stand all over the land. See the details of each lintel, each wash-house or each mill....
