"Cap Festival", the rock festival of the rock ewes country !

Cap Festival, organized by the association "Boulègue en Lévezou", is a touring festival which previously took place in CAPLONGUE, COMPS, FLAVIN and LA CLAU. This festival has a friendly and contrasting atmosphere which facilitates encounters between generations and cultures.
Why a touring festival? In order to gather volunteers from all villages of Lévézou around a single project, and leave a dynamic community life for the future.

Festival folklorique International of Rouergue
From 2 to 9 August 2009.
The "Festival Folklorique International du Rouergue" (International Folk Festival in Rouergue) was created in 1954 in Pont de Salars, by men deeply attached to their country. These men of culture thought that personal development was based on the discovery of different people, their traditions and their customs.
They wanted our region to meet the rest of the world. Nine nations are invited each year in early August, along with four authentic bands from Aveyron. The festival tours around the department until its high point in Pont de Salars, on Sunday, on the banks of the lake.
Parades, shows and various activities take place during this week dedicated to traditions. The festival claims to be a vector of friendship, fraternity and connection between people from all horizons, and wishes to mirror the soul of the Rouergue land.
